I have over 900 hours of continuing education courses --- covering styles from the firm, deep vigorous techniques of deep body and tissue work, Swedish, sports massage, and structural bodywork, to the very soft gentle techniques of myofascial release, soft tissue release, lymphatic drainage, orthobionomy and trager. I also studied some of the Oriental techniques of reflexology, touch for health and applied kinesiology. For more information, see the Education section.

I am a retired Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with international recognition, a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, and CA State Approved Hypnotherapy Instructor. Although I no longer practice the use of formal trance inductions, I do educate and work my patients (upon request) in the Rules of the Mind to assist them with their health and/or to empower them in their life changes.

I have studied psychology, nutrition, herbology both in colleges and in holistic classes, training incorporated into my patient sessions. I am currently in a Psychology Doctorate Program with Alliant International University and hope to have a Psy.D. in 2014.

Several chiropractic clinics have contracted with me over the years, one for fourteen years and another for five years. Wanting to "give back," I have donated my time and skills to the Santa Clara County suicide prevention program and to the Spiritual Care and Special diet program needs of patients at Marshall Hospital. I have over 1000 hours of Crisis Line Counseling for the El Dorado County Women's Shelter (which required a 40 hour Training Program in Domestic Violence Intervention), and have worked with The Food Closet for the Chrisitan Ministries and Housing and Emergency Lodging Program for the Chrisitian Ministries.

I have the ability to bill some insurance companies and have also been a provider with a couple of insurance networks in which discounts are offered to the holders of specific insurance policies. Even if the patient has no insurance, I can provide professional statements which the IRS allows for use in obtaining medical deductions off their income taxes.

I have assisted over 2500 individuals with my services over the years, and I look forward to helping you.
